1. Riley got a surgery date for his knee and it is soon - so thankful!
2. We had a great night out as a family and celebrated all of our paperwork being sent away- it is truly out of our hands.

3. I got this - what an amazing thing. I don't like baking but with 4 (plus more to come) kids in the house it makes it a little more bearable. 2 kinds of muffins and 2 kinds of cookies in a week- this is huge for me! p.s. I love to cook...just not bake.
4. We are beginning to put some fundraising ideas into reality - Riley and I have been saving on our own but time to get the kids involved!! This will be on the outside of our spare change jar - anything that is put into it- change, bills, cheques- will go towards our expenses of adoption. The kids love this as it is a tangible way they can help and see the progress.
And an update...Our agency is absolutely wonderful, keeping us posted on the next steps. Next is the processing of a Statuatory Declaration before all the papers begins their travels. This could take a few weeks - we are praying that it happens on the fast end!
